< Making business in the web and service cloud easier. >

The Internet is fun AND useful, for your business or data

The web and service cloud has arrived and we are helping you get airborne.

What Is This Ominous Web and Service Cloud You Speak Of?

From 2005 on something interesting is happening. The web is finally becoming the service and applications platform that it was envisioned in which thankfully was not paleo-future. It is here. However it is changing. Computers are going to multiple processors, and data and content are taking to the web cloud.

We Have the Consumer Tools that Run in the Web and Service Cloud

We have tools for small to medium business, agencies, individuals and developers to help with the new cloud based nature of the web where everything is syndicated and a service. Somehow people need to aggregate that data to be able to run businesses on it. Products, information and networks to keep track of create challenges in today's competitive online markets.

Consumer tools we currently have as our 'products' stage

  • as2commerce - a purchase order, invoicing, shipping, receipt and non repudiation EDI system based on the AS2 (Applicability Standard 2 - HTTP) and EDI-INT over the web. This is based on common market platform standards such as TripleDES, SSL, x509 Certificates, Encryption, Digital Signatures and Secure Transmission of mission critical data for small to large business. We have a service model for small business and a larger enterprise solution for AS2 enabling your enterprise. The current productized version is in .NET C# for 2.0 and 3.5 but in projects this is also running on Java 6. In labs we have an AS3 version for smaller docs. So we are enabling this tool to be able to run in many platforms. The service model version is running on .NET.
  • smbcommerce - more on this soon.

Product Nebula - About Our Iterative Product Vetting Process

Products at drawcode have a process that helps to filter good marketable ideas from design to code to market through a three stage process.

Stage 1:

  • Individuals at our location or working with us get ideas and play around with them usually in some new technology or a way to make current technology better. Then they put them in the lab. This is where more work and interest can be gained. Some stuff works, others are good in 6 months to a year, others are just for fun.
  • These items are given LAB status and appear in labs.

Stage 2:

  • More individuals, external interest or work on this project or idea either in direct work or elaboration and business tests to see that it is marketable. If so it is turned into an official project.
  • These items are given PROJECT status at drawcode and appear in project .

Stage 3:

  • The project either has successive alpha programs or has been used and evolved from client projects into something marketable and usability ready for the real test, boom, pow, bang, the worr-r-rld.
  • Usually these products are in late stage alpha or beta with with users that have been using the product for at least 6 months in live business.
  • These items are given PRODUCT status at drawcode and appear in products.

All this can happen in the window of 6 months to 2 years. For a successful dedicated product launch it takes this amount of interest and time to verify good ideas and test their true marketability.

This is how why you can count on the product development process and implementation at drawcode from our creative engineering and software simplification process that have successfully researched and help launch the early iterations of multiple other companies and products.
